After co-founding the international agency ACNE in 2007 and helping shape its global presence, Johan started Uncut in 2023 to meet a growing demand for high-volume, high-impact content without compromising craft or originality. Uncut is a creative tech company redefining how brands scale storytelling through AI production, strategic development, and concept-driven creativity.
Previously named No.1 Executive Creative Director in Sweden (2016–2018) and ranked Top 10 globally in 2018, Johan has earned global recognition for his innovative campaigns and leadership. In 2018, he was featured on Ad Age’s “40 under 40”, a celebration of the industry’s most boundary-pushing talents.
Johan has collaborated with Instagram, Netflix, IKEA, Spotify, Facebook, H&M, Coca Cola, GAP, Fanta, Diageo, Orange, SAB Miller, and many more. Johan’s best known work is IKEA’s viral response to Balenciaga, which was one of the most awarded campaigns globally in 2017. This year Uncut’s collaboration with H&M has gained a lot of media attention for its inventive use of AI generated digital clones as models.
Johan has judged top international award shows including NY Festivals, One Show and Eurobest.
